Since opening in 1998 the Rip Curl School of Surf have taught more than 80,000 students to surf, kite, wake and windsurf in Bali. With schools now in Sanur and Legian we are able to cover both coasts of Bali and have the pick of the best breaks wet season or dry season. Our fleet of vans and boats are ready to transport you to the best spots and we always go that little bit further to make sure our students get everything out of their time with us and for their surfing, kiting, SUP'ing, waking and windsurfing.

Our mission has always been to provide each and every student with the ultimate experience on every step of their search, from the pick up, the welcome at the reception, the best-in-class facilities, equipment and our education programs. We aim to be a cool and vibrant place of learning, where everyone can discover their search and share their experience with others who also share the passion for knowledge and respect for our oceans.
The Crew
The Rip Curl School of Surf goes to great effort to ensure that our foreign and local crew are amongst the highest qualified instructors in the world. We fly in certification instructors or send our crew abroad to complete levels in all of our different course disciplines; making sure we are teaching the latest and most efficent programs. We insist our front line crew and drivers also partake in our activities to give them an understand of our programs, so they are able to answer questions and more importantly share in your experience.
The Facilities
All of our school location facilities include the latest range of Rip Curl surf wear, changing rooms, personal lockers, private bathrooms, fresh water showers and loads of off street parking. Each location has it own chill out area with cold drinks, good tunes, tables and chairs. If your bringing a friend or family member along then all location are adjacent to great restaurants where they can relax in style and enjoy a meal.
The Services
We offer free transport for guest in the coolest vans in town; totally air-conditioned, roof racked up to carry boards, kitted out with DVD players featuring the latest Rip Curl surf movies to psych you up on your way to the school. All students are equipped with a Rip Curl rash shirts, board shorts, booties for reef surfing, wetsuits (on request), surf helmet, impact vest for kite, wake and windsurfing sessions, ensuring your comfort and safety. We are super concision about protecting our students from the sun and supply high quality imported sunscreen for your body, zinc cream for your face before and during all sessions, and insist our students replenish their fluids with drinking water at every opportunity.
Your Memories
Our team of Photographers and Videographers will be recording every perfect wave you pull into and some of your wipe outs. You can pre -order your surf movie to be shot over 3 days and edited over night on to DVD and up loaded to youtube, as well as have all your photos taken during every session recorded on to CD for you at the end of your lessons.
